Accessibility Statement
We are committed to making our website and services accessible to everyone, regardless of ability or technology.
Our Commitment
Meesa Method is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to our website.
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA standards. These guidelines provide a framework for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
Accessibility Features
Our website includes the following accessibility features:
Navigation & Structure
- Skip navigation link: A "Skip to main content" link is available at the top of every page, allowing keyboard users to bypass the navigation menu.
- Semantic HTML: We use proper heading hierarchy (h1 through h6), landmark regions (header, nav, main, footer), and semantic elements to ensure assistive technologies can interpret our content correctly.
- Consistent navigation: Navigation menus are consistent across all pages, making the site predictable and easy to learn.
- Descriptive page titles: Each page has a unique, descriptive title that identifies the page content and site name.
Visual Design
- Color contrast: Text and interactive elements maintain sufficient color contrast ratios (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text) against their backgrounds.
- Resizable text: All text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality using browser zoom controls.
- No reliance on color alone: Information is not conveyed solely through color. Visual cues such as text labels, icons, and patterns supplement color-based indicators.
- Responsive design: Our website adapts to different screen sizes and orientations, ensuring usability on mobile devices, tablets, and desktops.
Keyboard Accessibility
- Full keyboard navigation: All interactive elements (links, buttons, form fields, menus) can be accessed and operated using only a keyboard.
- Visible focus indicators: A visible outline appears around focused elements so keyboard users can see where they are on the page.
- Logical tab order: The tab order follows a logical reading sequence through the page content.
- Escape key support: Modal dialogs and expanded menus can be closed using the Escape key.
Content & Media
- Alternative text: All meaningful images include descriptive alternative text (alt attributes) for screen readers. Decorative images are properly marked as such.
- Link purpose: Link text clearly describes the destination or action, avoiding ambiguous phrases like "click here."
- Form labels: All form fields have associated labels, and required fields are clearly indicated.
- Error identification: Form validation errors are clearly described in text and associated with the relevant input field.
Interactive Components
- ARIA attributes: Where native HTML semantics are insufficient, we use WAI-ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) attributes to convey roles, states, and properties to assistive technologies.
- Accordion controls: Our FAQ accordion sections use proper aria-expanded and aria-controls attributes to communicate state changes to screen readers.
- Touch targets: Interactive elements have a minimum touch target size of 44x44 pixels for ease of use on touch devices.
Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some areas may have limitations:
- Third-party content: Some embedded content (such as Google Maps or booking calendar widgets) is provided by third-party services. While we choose accessible providers when possible, we cannot guarantee full accessibility of all third-party components.
- PDF documents: If any downloadable PDFs are provided, they may not be fully accessible. Please contact us for alternative formats.
