Our Policies

We want your experience at Meesa Method to be seamless and enjoyable. Please review our policies below so you know what to expect.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

We understand that plans change. We kindly request at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

  • Late cancellations (less than 24 hours notice) may be charged a fee equal to 50% of the booked service cost.
  • No-shows (missed appointments without notice) may be charged the full service cost.
  • We understand emergencies happen. Please call us at (628) 292-5999 as soon as possible if you need to make a last-minute change, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

To cancel or reschedule, please call us or use the link in your appointment confirmation email.

Late Arrival

We respect your time and the schedules of all our clients. If you arrive late, your session may need to be shortened to avoid impacting the next appointment.

  • Arriving 1–15 minutes late: Your session will be shortened by the amount of time missed. You will be charged the full session rate.
  • Arriving more than 15 minutes late: We may need to reschedule your appointment, and the late cancellation fee may apply.
  • For first-time visits, please arrive 10–15 minutes early to complete your health intake form.

Health & Safety

Your health and safety are our top priority. All new clients are required to complete a health intake form before their first session. This helps us understand your medical history and tailor your treatment safely.

Please inform us before your session if you have any of the following:

  • Recent surgery or injuries
  • Pregnancy
  • Blood clots, deep vein thrombosis, or cardiovascular conditions
  • Skin conditions, rashes, or infections
  • Fever, cold, flu, or contagious illness
  • Severe osteoporosis
  • Uncontrolled high blood pressure
  • Cancer or recent chemotherapy/radiation
  • Any condition requiring medical clearance for massage

In some cases, we may ask for a written clearance from your physician before proceeding with treatment. This is done to protect your well-being and ensure we provide the safest possible care.

If you feel unwell on the day of your appointment, please reschedule. The 24-hour cancellation policy will be waived for illness.

Payment Methods

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept the following payment methods:

  • Cash
  • All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay
  • Gift certificates (purchased in person or by phone)

We do not currently accept insurance for massage therapy. However, we can provide a receipt with service codes that you may submit to your insurance provider or HSA/FSA administrator for potential reimbursement.

Gift Certificates

  • Gift certificates are available for any service or custom dollar amount.
  • They can be purchased in person at our studio or by calling (628) 292-5999.
  • Gift certificates do not expire.
  • They are non-refundable and non-transferable for cash value.
  • If the service selected exceeds the gift certificate value, the balance is due at the time of service.

Age Requirement

All clients must be 18 years of age or older to receive services at Meesa Method. We do not provide massage services to minors. A valid ID may be requested for verification.
